Manpower Sri Lanka is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join a professional team based in Colombo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, managing group consolidation accounts, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience handling financial reporting for multiple entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare and maintain group consolidation accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare VAT, tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
• Manage financial reporting requirements across multiple entities.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records and reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strategic Level qualification in ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks (QB) will be an advantage.
• Experience in audit preparation and statutory reporting will be an added advantage.
