One of our prestigious clients is looking for an experienced Network & Security Project Implementation Engineer to join their Network Engineering / Professional Services team remotely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and deploying enterprise network and security solutions across customer projects, with hands-on experience in Fortinet technologies, enterprise networking, Microsoft 365 security, and Azure and AWS networking and security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and deploy enterprise network and security solutions across structured customer projects.

• Configure Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch and FortiAP.

• Deliver SD-WAN, firewall, SASE, switching and wireless implementations.

• Work with Project Managers, Solution Architects and customers to deliver agreed technical scope and project timelines.

• Produce implementation documentation, network diagrams, configuration records and as-built documentation.

• Complete deployment testing, performance validation, troubleshooting and handover activities.

• Follow internal implementation standards, change-control processes, security requirements and ITIL-aligned practices.

• Support project delivery activities while maintaining implementation quality and technical accuracy.

• Troubleshoot network and security issues throughout implementation and deployment phases.

• Coordinate effectively with customers and internal technical teams to ensure successful project completion.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3–6 years' experience in network engineering, security engineering or project implementation roles.

• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls and LAN/WAN technologies.

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

• Experience delivering SD-WAN, firewall, wireless and enterprise network security implementations.

• Solid understanding of OSPF, BGP, STP, DHCP and DNS.

• Experience in multi-vendor environments such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Cisco or Juniper.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Intune and Purview.

• Experience with Azure and AWS networking and security.

• Experience with change-control and ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.

• Strong customer-facing communication and documentation skills.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage competing project priorities with minimal supervision.

• High attention to detail, documentation quality and implementation accuracy.

• Adaptability when working in fast-paced project environments and according to agreed deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.

• Customer-focused approach and confidence working with clients and delivery stakeholders.
