One of our prestigious clients in Dubai is looking for experienced Certified Gas Cutters to join their team immediately.

SALARY: AED Negotiable (Based on experience and qualifications)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform gas cutting operations on metal plates, pipes, structures, and other components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate oxy-fuel/gas cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up and adjust gas cutting equipment, regulators, hoses, torches, and cutting tips according to material thickness and job requirements.
• Measure, mark, and cut metal materials accurately according to required dimensions.
• Inspect cutting work to ensure proper dimensions, accuracy, and quality standards are maintained.
• Remove slag, sharp edges, and unwanted material from cut components using appropriate tools.
• Identify and report defects, equipment problems, or unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain and inspect gas cutting equipment, hoses, cylinders, regulators, and accessories before use.
• Follow approved cutting procedures, workplace safety regulations, and permit-to-work requirements.
• Handle and store gas cylinders and cutting equipment safely according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with fabricators, welders, fitters, and supervisors to complete assigned work efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area and follow all occupational health and safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical certificate, diploma, or relevant qualification in Gas Cutting, Welding, Fabrication, or a related field.
• Valid Gas Cutting certification from a recognized institution or authority.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Gas Cutter in construction, fabrication, engineering, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of oxy-fuel/gas cutting techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
• Experience cutting different types and thicknesses of metals.
• Good knowledge of gas cylinders, regulators, hoses, torches, and cutting tips.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to identify equipment faults and perform basic equipment checks.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate cutting dimensions.
• Physically fit and able to work in an industrial or construction environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
