One of our reputed clients is seeking experienced Level 2 Infrastructure Engineers to support enterprise IT environments across cloud, infrastructure, and endpoint systems. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, system administration, and maintaining high service standards while working closely with senior engineering teams.


SALARY: LKR 150,000 – 400,000


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Level 2 support for escalated incidents across Windows Server (2019+) and Windows 11 environments.
  • Perform Hyper-V virtual machine operations including creation, resizing, and troubleshooting.
  • Support Azure Infrastructure (IaaS) including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Troubleshoot and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, DNS, VPN gateways, and NSGs.
  • Administer Active Directory (AD DS) including user management and troubleshooting authentication issues.
  • Support Entra ID (Azure AD) including MFA, Conditional Access, and identity management.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy (GPO) configurations.
  • Handle DNS/DHCP administration and related troubleshooting.
  • Provide advanced Windows desktop support including OS and application issues.
  • Support Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management including device enrollment and application deployment.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations and troubleshoot backup issues.
  • Monitor systems, manage alerts, and coordinate resolutions using monitoring tools.
  • Execute approved changes and maintain accurate documentation and runbooks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for escalations and issue resolution.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 – 7 years of experience in Infrastructure / Desktop / Microsoft 365 support roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022+) and Windows 11.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance, application deployment).
  • Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity and access management.
  • Good knowledge of Azure Infrastructure (IaaS) including VMs, storage, and networking.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Hyper-V virtualization.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in MSP/MSSP environments is an advantage.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, MD-102, SC-300, or ITIL Foundation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, PowerShell scripting, and automation.
  • Knowledge of hybrid identity (Entra Connect).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and backup tools (ManageEngine, SolarWinds, etc.).
  • Experience with email security tools and endpoint security platforms.
