Our client is a leading "Software Products & Services" company based in the USA and is looking for experienced "Senior Software Engineers" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop full-stack web applications using React and NodeJS.
- Deep understanding of React and Flux architectural patterns.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript and JS development tools.
- Working with RDBMS (MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
- Writing unit test cases using Jest / Chai / Mocha.
- Working in an AWS-based Cloud environment.
- Developing and hosting applications on public cloud environments (AWS).
- Participating in client meetings.
- Conducting code reviews.
- Monitoring junior software engineers.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Languages: JavaScript / Typescript.
- Frameworks/Libraries: NodeJS / React / Redux / Redux Saga
- Unit Testing: Jest / Chai / Mocha
- Cloud: AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Databases: MySQL / DynamoDB
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- A Bachelor's degree in IT / Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in React Development.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in NodeJS.
- Experience working with AWS serverless stack (Lambda, API gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Cognito, CloudWatch) will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with serverless frameworks will be an advantage.
- AWS certification will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry best practices in software development.
- Ability to grasp new technologies, concepts quickly and willingness to learn.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to directly communicate with clients overseas as required.
- Team player with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
