Our client is a leading software development and technology consulting company based in Sweden and is looking for skilled "Software Engineers" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Business Analyst, Software Architect, Product Owner, and other stakeholders and be part of the decision-making process within the software project to achieve project objectives.
- Actively engage in design, implementation, and maintenance of systems throughout the project life cycle.
- Establish standards, functional and technical specifications.
- Promote best practices within the team.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Object Oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in C# development (.NET Core 2.x+)
- Experience in database design and development with SQL Server / MySQL.
- Experience in React JS
- Familiarity with Node JS is nice to have.
- Knowledge in distributed application development (REST, Web service, Web API).
- Knowledge in scripting languages such as JavaScript, AJAX, CSS ,HTML5.
- Knowledge in using Azure / AWS platforms would be an added advantage.
- Experience in GIT and JIRA.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant discipline.
- Post-degree industry experience directly working with the .NET Core / .NET Framework as a Software Engineer.
- Experience (years): SSE: 5+ / SE: 3+ (Remuneration based on experience)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with React JS
- Professional certification in relevant technologies would be an added advantage.
- Experience in Test Driven Development and technologies such as NUnit / MSTest.
- Hands-on experience in Agile project environments and have mastered one or more Agile processes including activities such as test-driven development, continuous integration (CI), and/or pair programming.
- Knowledge in using UML in different phases of the projects.
- Ability to grasp new technologies, concepts quickly and willing to learn and work on multiple technologies.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
