One of our clients who is a multinational tea production company based in Colombo is looking for an experienced "Production Supervisor" to join with them immediately.
SALARY: Negotiable
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hire and train employees.
- Assign responsibilities and oversee employees.
- Prepare and maintain the production schedule.
- Evaluate production efficiency.
- Determine the quality of goods before shipping.
- Submit reports on performance and progress.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Ensure that health and safety laws are followed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage
- At least 2 - 4 years of experience in FMCG production environment as a Production
- A supervisor or similar role.
- Good knowledge of production systems. (Preferably in FMCG)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and problem-solving attitude.
- Team player with a pleasing personality.
