One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading Multinational IT company based in Colombo is looking for an experienced "Software Architect" to join their team immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand the company needs to define system specifications.
- Plan and design the structure of a technology solution.
- Communicate system requirements to software development teams.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
- Oversee assigned programs and provide guidance to team members.
- Conduct code reviews and help inculcate best practices and coding methodologies.
- Assist with solving technical problems when they arise.
- Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure.
- Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions.
- Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
- Continuously suggesting and ensuring new technologies are inculcated in ongoing development.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Degree in a computer technology-related discipline from a reputed institution is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in the software development industry in a similar leadership role.
- Knowledge of selected coding languages. (.NET, C#, Angular, REST services)
- Expertise in project management and service-oriented architecture. (SOA)
- Understanding of strategic IT solutions.
- In-depth knowledge about quality standards, legislation, and best practices.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MS SQL)
- Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure)
- Ability to build a good rapport with clients, managers, and colleagues.
- Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain key concepts to managerial and technical resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
