One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading Multinational IT company is looking for skilled 'Business Intelligence Engineers' to work in their Colombo office immediately.

# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions. (e.g. Reporting tools)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms. (e.g. MicroStrategy)
- Create tools to store data.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence Development.
- 2 years of work experience on a cloud-based BI platform such as Tableau or similar is required.
- Ability to perform ETL, write complex queries, perform data analysis & build data models.
- Knowledge in business-related statistics, metrics, KPIs & experience building standard visualizations, reports, and dashboards around those.
- Should be willing to learn, certify and work in new tools such as Domo.
- Good BI analytical skills to gather requirements from various US clients.
- Knowledge in handling multiple data sources including cloud-based (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English to directly work with US clients.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and willing to learn and work on multiple technologies.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.
