One of our prestigious Clients' who is a leading supplier of "Technology & Instruments" is looking for "Manager - Strategic Offers" to work in their Colombo office immediately.

# SALARY: Rs. 150,000

# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility for submission of 5C offers before the deadline as per the input document (quotation /tenders) and technical input to increase company profitability by providing 100% Correct, Clear, Current, Complete and Competitive offers following the company protocols and procedures and meeting total department deadlines and goals by managing available resources.

  • Delivering to the value proposition and business needs in Scientific and Medical High Technology Instruments.
  • Review offers to determine a response strategy collaborating with the sales team to assemble complete proposals.
  • Performing Principal communication and interacting with internal/ external local parties on tender requirements.
  • Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline to reliably predict revenue and integrate competitive strategies.
  • Lead the Tender Process – setting up and follow-up on tender project plan, drive tender opportunities, get commitment and maximize tender outcome.
  • Mentoring and coaching the Strategic Offers Team in persuasive offer writing and offer preparation best practices.

# QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • 10 years' experience in a similar role, with recent experience in Managerial capacity in Scientific or Health Industry or High Technology Instruments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or related discipline; holding a Master’s will be an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to demonstrate strong technical and commercial acumen.
  • Fosters skills in effective communication and knowledge sharing between all stakeholders within the business.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills & proficient in MS Office.
