As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Switchboard Draftsperson to join their engineering team and support high-quality electrical projects.

SALARY: Negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate engineering documentation for Low Voltage (LV) switchboard manufacturing.
• Produce General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation.
• Interpret project specifications, consultant drawings, and engineering requirements.
• Support estimating, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain revision control and engineering documentation.
• Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) technical queries.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in LV switchboard drafting or design.
• Knowledge of:
  • AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439, SIR, IEC 60947 standards.
  • MSBs, MDBs, MCCs, DBs, ATS, and renewable energy interfaces.
  • Busbars, fault levels, protection coordination, IP ratings, and cable sizing.
• Proficiency in:
  • EPLAN Electric P8
  • AutoCAD
  • AutoCAD Electrical
  • SolidWorks Electrical
  • Microsoft Office
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
