One of our prestigious clients is looking for experienced RC Drillers to join their team. Candidates should have relevant experience in reverse circulation (RC) drilling operations, with the ability to operate drilling equipment safely, achieve drilling targets, and maintain high operational standards in a mining environment.

POSITION: RC Drillers

SALARY: 6000 SAR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate reverse circulation (RC) drilling rigs to carry out drilling activities according to project specifications and operational plans.
• Set up, operate, and monitor drilling equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Follow drilling programs, site instructions, and established operational procedures.
• Monitor drilling progress, sample recovery, and drilling parameters throughout operations.
• Ensure RC samples are collected, labelled, handled, and stored correctly to maintain sample integrity.
• Conduct routine inspections of drilling equipment, tools, hoses, and associated components before and during operations.
• Identify equipment faults, operational problems, and unsafe conditions, and report them to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with drilling supervisors, drilling assistants, and other site personnel to achieve daily drilling targets.
• Maintain accurate drilling logs, shift reports, and relevant operational records.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized drilling work area.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of drilling equipment as required.
• Follow emergency procedures and report incidents, near misses, and hazards immediately.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience operating reverse circulation (RC) drilling rigs in mining or exploration projects.
• Good understanding of RC drilling techniques, equipment, and operational procedures.
• Knowledge of drilling safety practices, hazard identification, and risk control.
• Ability to monitor drilling parameters and maintain accurate drilling records.
• Familiarity with RC sample collection, handling, and labelling procedures.
• Ability to identify equipment problems and communicate them to the maintenance team or supervisor.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor and remote mining environments.
• Willingness to work shifts and meet project drilling targets.
• Relevant drilling training or certifications are an advantage.
