One of our prestigious clients is looking for experienced Heavy Duty Drivers / Operators to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, transporting materials, and carrying out assigned operations in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.


SALARY:

Negotiable – Based on experience and qualifications


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate heavy-duty vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials, machinery, tools, and equipment as assigned.
  • Conduct pre-start and daily inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Check brakes, tires, lights, fluids, and other essential components before operation.
  • Follow designated routes, work schedules, and site instructions.
  • Load and unload materials safely while ensuring proper weight distribution.
  • Operate equipment according to manufacturer instructions and site procedures.
  • Report mechanical faults, damage, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle/equipment usage and daily activities.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are kept clean and in good operating condition.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with basic maintenance and servicing activities when required.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, mechanics, and other site personnel.
  • Maintain safe working practices when operating in construction, industrial, or work-site environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid heavy-duty driving/operator's licence appropriate to the vehicle or equipment.
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Driver, Heavy Equipment Operator, or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of operating heavy vehicles and/or industrial equipment.
  • Experience in construction, industrial, logistics, infrastructure, or similar environments will be an advantage.
  • Ability to conduct basic vehicle/equipment inspections.
  • Good understanding of road and workplace safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
  • Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Overseas/GCC experience will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant heavy vehicle or equipment operating certifications will be an advantage.
