One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Automation / SCADA & PLC Engineers to join their team. Candidates should have relevant experience in industrial automation, SCADA systems, PLC programming, and control system integration, with the ability to configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

POSITION: Automation / SCADA & PLC Engineers

SALARY: KD 180–300

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, configure, program, and maintain PLC-based automation and industrial control systems.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs according to operational and project requirements.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain SCADA systems for industrial process monitoring and control.
• Integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, sensors, instruments, and other automation equipment.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
• Diagnose system faults and implement corrective actions to minimize operational downtime.
• Review electrical drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and project teams to ensure successful system integration.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
• Configure and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications, alarms, and control functions.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of industrial communication networks and automation devices.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections to identify potential technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, PLC program backups, system configurations, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure automation systems comply with applicable technical standards and safety procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and operational personnel.
• Assist in upgrading existing automation systems and implementing new control technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA systems, or control engineering.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems, HMI configuration, and industrial control applications.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and control system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with automation hardware, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of system commissioning, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate system documentation.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and relevant technical standards.
• Ability to work effectively in an industrial, engineering, or project environment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Employment Type: Full-time
