Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems in vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle electrical systems to identify faults and malfunctions.
• Repair and maintain vehicle wiring, lighting, batteries, starters, and alternators.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, ignition, and lighting systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment to identify faults.
• Install, repair, and replace electrical components and wiring.
• Carry out electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Test repaired electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Identify electrical faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in good condition.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Auto Electrician / Automobile Electrician is required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic and electrical testing equipment.
• Good knowledge of vehicle wiring systems and electrical components.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Relevant technical or vocational qualifications will be an advantage.
