Join our dynamic team as "Junior Events Management Executives". As an energetic team player, you will collaborate with your colleagues and negotiate with cross-functional teams. You'll have the opportunity to explore, experiment, learn, plan, and execute while handling events.
SALARY: Negotiable
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizing corporate events, forums, seminars, promotional events, and tradeshows.
- Handling all promotional activities.
- Coordinate social media event publicity on social media.
- Work with the graphic design team to design fliers, invitation material, and event programs.
- Liaise with a public relations agency to publicize an event.
- Answer all incoming group and event inquiries/opportunities.
- Manage, monitor, and update all digital marketing communication channels, ensuring accurate and current information.
- Ensure that expenditures stay within the agreed budget.
- Meet measurable targets and revenue goals. (Individual and Team)
- Maintain the records of event activities and do a post-event summary.
- Maintain a working relationship with vendors and venue managers.
- Have excellent product knowledge of function space, audio-visual equipment, capacities, inventory, and menus.
- Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned by management related to the current role.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- At least 1-year experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Event Management or equivalent.
- Budgeting skills - the ability to stick to the client’s budget.
- Experience in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing would be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English. (and local languages)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal relationships, and time management skills.
- Enjoys interacting with people.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Loves interacting with clients & guests.
- Should be proactive, eventful, and a hard-working go-getter.
